Gleichweit Clarinet barrels were developed as a product of two clarinettists, Johannes Gleichweit (German-Vienna clarinet) and Emir Radisevic (Boehm clarinet). Based on widely used concepts, materials and many different shapes for both clarinet systems, we tested the barrels in different concert halls, in rehearsals, recordings and concerts.

The elegance of the body without silver rings and the special rubber allow for a very warm, focused sound with great sound projection and easy articulation.

Our barrels fit most clarinet brands with standard peg diameters. There are exceptions for instruments with non-standard spigot diameters. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your clarinets or need a special length for your clarinet, you are welcome to contact us using our contact forms.
